Privacy Policy

Ball Ventures LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the HYDROX application. This policy explains how personal information is collected and used.

The Short Version

Your data stays on your device. We don't have servers. We can't see your hydration data. That's it.

Information Collection

The app collects information you voluntarily provide:

• Body weight (to calculate your hydration target)
• Hydration logs you enter
• Training mode and intensity preferences

Apple Health

With your permission, HYDROX accesses Apple Health data. The specific data depends on which features you use:

• Water intake (read and write) — syncs your hydration logs with Apple Health
• Body weight (read only) — pulls your latest weight to calculate your daily hydration target

HYDROX PRO subscribers who enable Adaptive Hydration grant access to additional data:

• Workouts (read only) — detects today's training sessions to auto-adjust your hydration goal
• Heart rate (read only) — classifies workout intensity (easy, moderate, hard) from heart rate data
• Date of birth (read only) — estimates max heart rate for intensity classification

All Apple Health data stays within Apple's ecosystem and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. HYDROX never exports health data off your device.

Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud if you have it enabled. We do not operate servers. We cannot access your personal health data.

Analytics

We use Apple's built-in App Analytics to understand anonymous usage patterns (app opens, feature usage). This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

Data Retention

Your data lives on your device. Delete the app, delete your data. We have nothing to retain because we never had it.

Information Disclosure

We don't sell, rent, or share your data. We can't - we don't have it.

Children Under 13

The app is not directed toward children under thirteen. If such information is inadvertently collected, it is deleted immediately.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy. Check back periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
